According to Greek mythology, Adonis is a mortal man loved by Aphrodite.
Adonis is born from the trunk of the myrtle tree.
This young man, loved by both Persephone and Aphrodite, descends to the underworld, signaling the end of summer and the beginning of winter. When he returns to the surface, the earth regains its fertility, and spring arrives. The weather warms, and the flowers start to bloom.
During the restoration of our stone building dating back to 1680, we eagerly rolled up our sleeves to share this floor that we came across with you. We believe this floor carries the trace of the path of the Malaria Water that flowed within history.
Journeys symbolizing life and death, above ground and underground, and the experiences in these journeys are retold from mouth to ear, taken into the human mind through the ear canal, and brought back to life once again through storytelling.
We have prepared your room to bring together the story of Adonis in our minds with the underground visual in your room, creating an accommodation experience that makes flowers bloom in your soul.
All that is left for you is to embark on a journey through time.
